Several zines in the collection were created by University of Puget Sound students and groups. Under the direction of Katy Curtis, we have continued to add zines to the collection that are created in or about our region, address local and national issues and social justice topics, and/or are authored by underrepresented individuals or groups. This initial group of zines was the foundation for the Collins Library Zine collection. The Collins Library Zine collection was acquired by the University of Puget Sound in July 2016 when Humanities Librarian Katy Curtis won a prize of 100 zines from the Zine Pavilion at the American Library Association's (ALA) Annual Conference.

Speaking of moggles, Canada got silver in the womens free skiing moggle compititions. Well, this project will have been pretty short-lived but its actually an awesome thing.
It only hurts from time to time but It still makes me uber careful when boarding 0.0 I also ended up boarding with an offical champian moggle skiier for Canada (or something along that title), turns out he knows my parents through work ^^ In my early boarding years I wipped out pretty hard and ended getting two hair-line fracture in my spine.
